Those Scared White People

I am so delighted to report that many of the homegrown terrorists who tried to mounted a badly-planned coup and invaded the US Capitol were put on the no-fly list. When you are on the no-fly list, you are there for life. If you're there in error, it takes a long time to get off it. I had a client whose son had the same name as a foreign terrorist and boy was blocked from flying. At the time, the son was five years old. It took several months to get the child removed from the list but eventually he was. (This was so long ago that the little boy is now a college graduate.) Those who are homegrown and took part in poorly orchestrated mayhem will have no such luck. YouTube brought us several views of a fellow who had been denied boarding and was crying and swearing in the terminal. Sir, nut up. You did a terrible crime. Stop crying and start driving. There were two women and a man who were physically removed from a plane; the other passengers applauded. They acted all superior and above it as they exited the aircraft but, thanks again, YouTube, we see that they ended up in the terminal sitting and crying. Wah wah wah, rent a car, call Greyhound, buy some piece of crap at a used car lot, but don't look for frequent flier miles. The rumors are flying -- rumors, unlike these alleged patriots, can still fly -- that these arrested people are all sending money to Trump so he will pardon them. You have less than three days before he leaves office and Trump got himself impeached again and it may well be that he cannot pardon anyone with this second stain on his record. In my long life, it was hard to imagine that the President of the United States of America would be so boorish, cavalier, narcissistic, and evil to tell his followers, "So we’re going to, we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we’re going to the Capitol, and we’re going to try and give. "The Democrats are hopeless, they never vote for anything. Not even one vote. But we’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help. We’re going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country." The Democrats, in truth, voted to impeach him one year ago. Does he think they all sit around sipping tea and playing cards and not going to the floor of the Senate or the House becasue there might be Republicans there? He does not but he can say it and his truly uneducated, selfish, scared White followers will believe him. Look at the shit that's come out of him -- Covid-19 is a hoax, Hillary is a liar (and she never said, "I know you are but what am I?" to him), Joe Biden is sleepy (again, "I know you are but what am I?"), and the New York Times publishes fake news. The Democrats also voted to impeach him just a few days ago and were joined by Republicans like Liz Cheney, daughter of ex-VP and former-Defense Department Secretary Dick Cheney, a woman who is number 3 in the ranks of Republicans in the House of Representatives. Trump has been winding people up for years. When he was running for office, he was campaigning in Chicago and riled up his followers so much that they took to the streets to do bad things. The rally was then cancelled. He winds them up with this enthusiastic, pandering lies and they stupidly follow his line of thinking. After four years of this, there are now millions of them. Have you ever tried to argue with someone who is as dumb as a stump? They can only be a stump; they cannot see another side because, for them, the only side is their side, like a sheet of paper lying on an empty table. Yes, Biden and Harris won the election but how are you going to convince those who love, admire, adore, worship Trump? The followers are out of their cans and they can't be stuffed back in. Once you admit to being a racist, you can't say, "Well, that's not what I meant. You know me! You know that's not me." Ah, but it is you, sir and madam. As I've said for many months, stock your pantries, buy plenty of water, make sure you have a working flashlight, and that you have lots of clean laundry. Gas up or energize your car but be prepared to stay put if you must. DO NOT BUY A GUN. Those fearful idiots have guns and there are enough people who don't know how to really shoot a weapon running around; you don't need to be added to that mix. I will be using my bad personality as a cudgel. That will confuse them enough so I can run away! Join me as we flee.
